A Week in Weird

My weeks feel like they're stretching out and snapping back like rubber bands lately--whatever that means. I have been consumed with coursework, and it won't end quickly or painlessly. Yes, there have been tears this semester, but what's new?! Sometimes, I wonder, what in the hell am I doing here? When I get like this--I become more introspective--if that's even possible, and I sense change brewing, so I turn up Sage Francis on my killer system in the GTI, and speed down the roads of one of the most haunted cities in America. Keep your eyes open, and reading, my little kittens. I'll spill it all out here eventually.

It's Saturday, and that means:
A. It's actually Caturday--technically
B. I have mountains of writing to do
C. It's one day closer to Dexter date night with J

Simple things keep my juices flowing, and a good episode of Dexter puts the troubles of my week in a little jar to be stifled. Amazing films and series inspire me in wonderful ways. I'm so thankful for cinema and cable shows. I'm also ♥ in love ♥ with my new necklace that was magically shipped, and in hand in 24 hours!

Disney Couture necklace via Zappos

Zappos is a magical company a lot like Santa Claus. I've been dreaming again--as you may have noticed, so that means I've been planning out . . .

Of course I'll tell you all about it as things take shape! That reminds me of the shape of my heart, and everyone's heart should look a lot like this:

I haven't been feeling well, and I think it's a result of not getting enough of the lovelies above. I usually have salad every day with: spinach, field greens, red onion, cucumber, tomato, carrot and homemade olive oil dressing with fresh garlic, but if I've skipped a few days, I can get into trouble, so I'm pumping up my veggie and fruit intake. It works instantly!

This weekend, I look forward to painting each of my nails Turned Up Turquoise as well as enjoying hot chocolate from Starbucks while I run errands and go shopping. I really shouldn't go shopping.

The Wizard of Oz show is next Friday! I thought the day would never come. We were invited to a pre-show reception at the Lyric Opera House, and we may check it out. As a side note, I've been planning on dyeing my hair dark for the winter as I usually do . . .

Me--2007

I'm getting bored with the pink, and the maintenance. I know I'll embrace the pink again in the spring. The Gemini in me likes to play these little games, but I go along with it without a fight; it's easier that way.

What was your week like, and what are you looking forward to?
Happy Caturday!
XOXO

Talk about wierd weeks, last sunday I had a clock fly at least three feet off the wall and hit me in the back of the head, then Monday while making tea for my husband, the mug made a pop sound and split straight down the middle like a samuri chopped it with his sword. Then I was watching a leaf spiral down, I thought it looked so lovely until it made a crazy turn and hit me right in the eye...

I love pink hair and have had myself. I agree it is way to hard to maintain esp with three little kids. I have gone back to dark purple or bright red. That disney necklace is to die for.

I will miss the pink in your hair, but you do look good with just brown locks too! I usually have a tendency to want to have darker hair in winter too, I wonder why that is...?
I also look forward to Dexter every week, have the Dexter date with the BF, its great.
I am intrigued as to what your new ventures are!
